NILD is accredited by ACCET
ACCET was founded in 1974 for the purpose of improving continuing education and training and has been officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Education since 1978 as a “reliable authority” as to the quality of education and training provided by the institutions we accredit.
SEARCH & TEACH is based on 12 years inter-disciplinary research in the diagnosis and treatment of learning disorders. SEARCH & TEACH was unanimously approved by the Joint Dissemination and Review Panel of the U.S. Office of Education, and has been implemented throughout the U.S. in various schools and clinical settings.
Since 1980, SEARCH & TEACH has been cited in the U.S. Office of Education publication Education Programs That Work, based on data documenting its educational impact, cost-effectiveness and replicability.
